still got questions?
poda is fresher and easier to use. unlike powders, which become stale and clumpy, our paste is preserved in an airtight tube, locking in vibrant flavors and nutrients. just squeeze, mix, and enjoy.
traditional matcha powders can degrade quickly, losing flavor and becoming stale. our paste stays fresh in an aluminum tube, so each serving has the full-bodied taste and aroma of just-ground matcha leaves.
it’s simple! just squeeze a tbsp (10g) into a cup, add hot water and stir. your shot is ready. add to your fav iced/hot milk
yes! we use only high-quality, single-origin organic matcha cold concentrated in a sugar free sweet plant base (allulose)
for maximum flavor we recommend to store it in the fridge after opening, or in a cool dry place
absolutely! while it’s perfect for drinking, you can also add it to smoothies, lattes, and even desserts for a unique matcha twist. It’s versatile and easy to use in many recipes.
feedback from our early customers
"I am sitting here drinking my matcha latte, iced with coconut milk and agave, and realizing I need to order more.
Honest thoughts about the product?
When you said it was easy to make, you were 100% correct. I don’t even measure anymore, I squeeze with my heart. I use my little battery powered wand frother to mix the hot water with the matcha then go from there. In lemonade, as a hot or cold latte, and tonight I’m trying it in a recipe for a matcha gin sour I just found!
I haven’t had a chance to take it on the road but that will be happening soon. I’ll be staying a few days at a hotel during a convention so I’ll have access to everything I need in my room. If I could suggest an idea, individual serving packs (maybe like a ketchup pack?) would be awesome. That way I’m not always carrying the tube around.
Speaking of the tube. That is my only issue, and it’s barely an issue. The matcha is sticky and sometimes when capping, a little product sneaks out making for a bit of a clean up. But now that I’m more mindful about, it’s not as much of an issue.
The only thing I didn’t mention was the taste. It’s delicious! All the things I love about matcha, without the extreme bitterness I get sometimes from different businesses. It’s a very even and clean flavor that surprised me on my first taste. I got a bit carried away when I first got my tube, and had a cup every morning. My other teas were feeling neglected!
Thank you so much. Expect an order, potentially a subscription, soon.
Oh! Another suggestion. For modern tastes, consider adding natural flavors to the line. I’ve had matcha with strawberry twice now and it’s a marvelous combination.
Thank you so much for following through with your Kickstarter. It was truly worth it."

"Not going to lie, this product has been sitting in my cupboard all this time because I felt nervous to try it but your email encouraged me to finally get it out and try it. I made a matcha latte this morning and was very surprised. It tasted great and is up there amongst my favorites. It wasn't too bitter or earthy. My husband doesn't usually like matcha as he is more of a coffee person but I had him take a sip and he enjoyed it as well!
When I squeezed a spoonful of the paste on a spoon, I poured the hot water over it slowly and stirred well, but despite that, a lot of it still remained on the spoon. Next time I will just squeeze it directly into the cup and measure with my eye instead. Apart from that, it stirred well into the water and I loved how smooth it was unlike powder matchas ive tried before that could get clumpy.
I put the tube in the fridge andhonestlyfeel excited to have another matcha latte tomorrow. Im really glad I took my chance with this product and it was worth the wait."

So far I canhonestlysay I’ve been really enjoying Poda. I have gone through many matcha powders and find them frustrating to use and tended to only drink matcha lates at coffee shops where other people were making it for me. We have the Breville Barista touch at home so steaming milk is no problem, and Poda makes having a matcha late super easy.
That said, my main issue with the tube is that it’s actually fairly hard to squeeze. Because of how the matcha is distributed in the tube I don’t find it as simple as pushing along the lines so tend to eyeball it each time when I’m making a cup, which has not been a huge problem. I have noticed that my tube has started to leak a little where the metal is bent.
So far I haven’t seen any issues with taste or freshness since I keep the tube in the fridge and have been using it at least once per day since it arrived. I had a bad experience a few years ago with an indigo project that was delayed for a long time and then never completed, so I was really delighted when your box came.
Once I’m done with both of my pre-order tubes I plan to order more. I told my sister about it who also was looking for a matcha late recommendation.
