This is actually SO GOOD!!! I really love Matcha, but I've never tried it in tube form. It's super easy to use, I love that it isn't sweetened so I can just add a little bit of sugar to have it like I like it. The consistently is great. I would absolutely buy this again.

Interesting format and flavor

I was curious when I saw this concentrated matcha paste available to evaluate.

I followed the directions, adding about 1 tablespoon of paste and 1/4 cup of hot water then stirring. The result blended well and was somewhat bitter, but not unpleasant. I then added milk. The flavor was different from what I'm accustomed to, but interesting in a good way.

The first cup was without sugar added. I tried a second cup with 1 teaspoon of turbinado sugar and enjoyed the contrast between the bitter and sweet characteristics. Also, there was a distinctive plant flavor that reminded me of fresh string bean pods.

There is a caffeine guide on the box and this product falls between black tea and coffee. Also, there are helpful markings on the tube that may be used to measure a serving size.

The tube I received has a "best before" date of November 2026 which is about 6 months from now. Since it has been opened, I'll need to refrigerate it and use it within 30 days.

As much as I like the flavor, I find the product to be a bit expensive; though comparable in price with other matcha products. Some people may find the convenience of quick easy prep to be worth the premium price. I will consider buying this product again.

Great matcha at home

This tube is such a great deal. I will no longer have to buy it by the cup. It tastes incredible. It is so easy to make. All I had to do was mix one tablespoon of the matcha paste with 2 ounces of hot water. It mixed easily, and once I added it to a glass with ice and milk, it was delicious.
The color is deep and shiny, and you can see the quality before you even taste it. I love that I can make it as strong or as light as my mood calls for. It is so nice to be able to have a nice, relaxing cup in my house anytime I want one.
